Older residents services for DIY
I am helping out an older resident in Walkinstown. He wants some paint jobs done in his house and doesn’t know where to ask to get safe services.
I have done the research for him which I am now sharing
Help with DIY jobs for all older people, please contact Age Action
- For small DIY jobs taking a hour at the most, Age Action will send some trustworthy volunteers to your house free of charge.
- For bigger jobs, Age Action will provide a list of local trades persons to prevent older people from being ‘ripped off’ by rogue trades persons. The trades persons have agreed to Age Action’s Code of Conduct.
